Our History

1979

CT Hydraulics and Engineering Works (PTY) LTD was established by Mr RW Abbot.

1982

CT Fluid Power Training and Consultants (Pty) Ltd was established to uplift the entire hydraulic and pneumatic industry.

1982

The South African Fluid Power Association is established under the original name “Fluid Power Institute” with CT Hydraulics and Engineering Works as a founding member.

2005

The company was sold to CT Hydraulics (Pty) Ltd, which is currently managed by Michael Abbot.

2009

CT Hydraulics gains SABS Certification for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management.

2009

CT Hydraulics relocated to larger premises to accommodate growth and expansion.
